{"product_id":"1963-1964-ac-vent-templates","title":"1963 \u0026 1964 AC VENT TEMPLATES","description":"\u003ch5 dir=\"ltr\" data-setdir=\"false\"\u003eThese templates are used to cut out the dash on a non-air conditioned car when adding factory OEM a\/c vents.  New reproduction vents may work as well.  These templates were created using the holes on my own personal vehicle.  The only tools needed are pictured to assist.  Die grinder with cut off wheel, and cone shaped grinding stone.  You will also need a drill and drill bit to drill the holes for the screws that hold the vent bezel\/housing. Align the templates using the reference points shown in the pictures. For the driver side, you will use the line marked TOP and place the template at the break between the upper and lower dash. Then use the arrows inside the cut out and align those to the ridge of the dash. For the center vent, the left side of the hole is 22 7\/8 inch from the left and 2 5\/8 from the right. For the passenger side, align using the arrows shown.\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003ch5 dir=\"ltr\" data-setdir=\"false\"\u003eI recommend cutting along the dotted lines of the template, then use the cone shaped grinding rock to fine tune the shape to fit. Mock up frequently as you don't want to make the hole too big. Lastly, mock up your ac vents and mark your holes to drill for the screws.  \u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003ch5 dir=\"ltr\" data-setdir=\"false\"\u003eIt is very important to cut and mock frequently.
